Chambering & Barrel Work

When it comes to chambering, you have a choice to make, the first method (Tier 1) I offer is the industry standard method which is set up between centers, then machined by way of utilizing a steady rest. This method produces excellent results, particularly in hunting rifles. The second (Tier 2) method I offer is a common benchrest method where I place indicators in each end of the barrel and indicate both ends to run true within 0.0001 (1/10,000th) of an inch of each other before chambering. And the third method (Tier 3) I offer is a Premium chambering service (Tier 3) which uses the "Gordy Gritters" method where the chamber and throat is aligned as close as possible to the bore right where the bullet will sit when chambered. Then any curvature (if any) in the barrel between the chamber and the muzzle is timed so that the muzzle will be clocked at 12 o'clock position to aid your scope with some added elevation. I have chambered my own rifles using all three methods and they all have produced some excellent shooting rifles.

Regardless of which chambering method you select, I use a barrel flush system with an adapted air line fit into it that lets me clear the chips without having to blow them down through the fresh cut rifling of your new barrel.
